NIKE °° NIKE [Νίκη] was the winged goddess or spirit of victory, both in battle and peaceful competition. She was the daughter to Pallas and Styx, sibling to Zelos, Kratos, Bia, and offered her services primarily to Zeus and Athena. NONNETTE °° Having (or had been having, in this case) wings for as long as she has lived, she tends to be a very flitting character, appearing briefly here and there before abruptly off again. This leads to her to being hard to catch in both physical and mental means. Nevertheless, she will appear when someone calls for her, especially if being Zeus, Athena, or her family members. She can also be composed despite all her antsypantsyness, especially among large crowds of strangers, and will take to people-watching and silent observation. Around a throng of people she does know, though, she can become warm-hearted and excitable—being the resident “cheerleader,” almost, as unspoken law.She also establishes herself as a free spirited, independent character, not closely admiring the idea of a lover or anything that could possibly tie her down. For the majority of her time, she will mindlessly float around, being amongst her own thoughts and business, until called to action. Note that being in her own world does not make her any less observant towards the outside happenings, though, and she can acquire a sense of dry humor along with the look (she gives good Looks when Not Amused). Meanwhile, when called into action, she can rapidly change demeanor into a devoted and often very enthusiastic, determined being who is skilled at what she does. She is, in particular, practiced at aiding physical battle (as well as being on the frontlines, herself), but for most cases she prefers to submissively allow the other person the glory. Besides being accomplished at physical combat, give her a task such as handwriting thank-you notes and, as long as she trusts and likes you well enough, she will greet it with the same amount of energy and dedication. |
